Guillotines will cut the paper using a shearing technique which uses a lever to cut through the sheets. Guillotines are used for large quantities of paper and can have a cutting capacity up to 500 sheets of paper.
Trimmers have the blade housed in a cutting head which is pushed along giving the advantage of cutting in both directions. Trimmers are designed for smaller quantities of paper. Self-sharpening blades ensure a constant finish with no jagged edges and the blades are protected by guards to prevent injury.
Paper guides allow for paper alignment and a more professional and exact finish
