Reviews for OLYMPUS DS50 DIGITAL VOICE RECORDER
The Olympus DS50 Digital Voice Recorder
Reviewed by A1 Stores - Posted 11 Nov 2008
There are digital voice recorders and there are “Digital Voice Recorders”. The Olympus DS50 is definitely one of the latter, as I will explain. As the name suggests, this digital voice recorder, digitally records your voice! But it doesn’t stop there, it also records other people’s voices and other sounds too, including birdsong, male voice choirs and even traffic! On a more serious note, this recorder does have five recording quality settings and comes complete with an omnidirectional stereo microphone, making it perfect for lecture or conference situations. It is voice activated and supports Podcast, audiobook, MP3, WMA and AA playback, so you can play your favourite tunes or books while on the move through the included stereo headphones. The Olympus DS50 also has a massive 1GB of memory, giving up to 275 hours recording! That’s more than 11 days! On top of all that, it has voice guidance, making it easy to use for the visually impaired, and has a nifty case and remote control all in the box. In conclusion, this is a great voice recorder for students and professionals alike, and it looks pretty cool as well!
